Can I avoid seeing certain themes?
To a degree. MAJOR depictions of some themes will be tagged (on Tumblr and in the comic chapters for Comic Fury — so not everywhere!). However, this page serves as a broad content warning for the whole project for a reason. To avoid certain themes, your best bet is to avoid any story- and character-related content (i.e. only browse the worldbuilding tag on Tumblr), filter the listed trigger tags on Tumblr and only navigate the webcomic using the archive system (to ensure you always see the cover, where the warnings are). Ultimately, though, for FULLY avoiding any theme listed here, I recommend not engaging with this project.
NOT TAGGED
Minor depictions of certain topics. Mentions or themes of a topic, talking about a topic, referring to past events, subtext, et cetera. Self-harm scars are also not tagged! Things like casual substance use, smoking, or non-graphic sexual themes also are NOT tagged in the comics!
TAGGED
Active depictions of a topic on-screen, or in conversation with clear intent, or art and stories where they are a concentrated, major focus. Basically any instance where these topics are either a focal point or shown or discussed in detail.

Technically, however I would generally recommend against it if you are very sensitive to any listed topic. Basically anything listed here may and will be present in art or the comics at some point and while SIGNIFICANT depictions may be tagged (on applicable sites), all of them will not be. This all ultimately depends on which themes you wish not to see and how sensitive you are to seeing them.
